We are having our awards picnic this year at our previous location - Conejo Creek Park North, Creekside Pavilion, Thousand Oaks. Sign up to bring an appetizer, salad, side dish or dessert to share. Meats and beverages will be provided. Enjoy a fun day filled with delicious food and great company! We‘ll announce the spring scholarship winners, the new VC99‘s board and Women Pilot of the Year inductee. We are asking for a $15--or $10 if you contribute food--to help offset the costs. You can pay when you register or the day of the picnic. If you know of someone interested in joining the VC99s, they can come as your guest for free to learn more about the 99s and our chapter. Make it a family day at this beautiful park!

This month our guest is Clay Phelps, A&P, IA and CFI at CP Aviation, for a discussion on understanding airplane systems. Come join us to learn about the airplane engine, magnetos, carburetor, and alternator with a bonus open airplane for an interactive Student Pilot Discussion
