Ventura County 99s Scholarships
Female pilots currently comprise just 6% of the U.S. pilot population, but that number is increasing!
It’s an exciting time to fly, and the Ventura Chapter is passionate about supporting the advancement of females in aviation. One of the ways we do that is by providing scholarship awards for both student and licensed pilots. Whether you fly for fun or are planning a career as a pilot, our goal is to support each member achieve her aviation goals.
Each year we award a variety of chapter funded scholarships. We fund these scholarships though our fundraising activities, including our Pilot Proficiency Classes, our Annual Silent Auction/ Raffle at the Wings Over Camarillo Air Show and a Pancake Breakfast for attendees.
There are also numerous scholarship opportunities offered through the Ninety Nines International.
