Come join us at our October meeting! Find out about our current chapter happenings, the recent Southwest Section meeting in West Jordan, UT, our 2023 SWS meeting and welcome a guest speaker, Col. Lisa Nemeth.  There is no cost to attend, however, if you would like dinner it is $12 per person and $3 per glass of wine, payable at the meeting.   Food will be provided from the Waypoint Cafe'.  Please register for the event and for dinner by Monday, 10/17/22

About our guest speaker:
Col. Lisa A. Nemeth is the Commander, 146th Airlift Wing, Channel Islands National Air Guard Station, California.  The wing is equipped with 8 C-130J aircraft and supports the State of California, the Air National Guard, and the United States Air Force.  She leads and directs more than 1200 permanent and part-time personnel and is responsible for 18 subordinate groups, squadrons, and flights.  The 146th Airlift Wing is tasked to support worldwide mobility and combat operations as well as emergency response, domestic operations and defense support to civil authorities for the community, state and nation.
Col. Nemeth graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering.  She attended undergraduate pilot training at Columbus AFB Miss. and earned her wings in 1996.  During her career, Col. Nemeth has supported numerous operations including OPERATIONS NORTHERN WATCH, JOING FORGE, ALLIED FORCE, NOBLE EAGLE, and IRAQI FREEDOM.  Prior to her current position, the colonel was the Air National Guard (ANG) Advisor to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
