What is this?
Our guest will be Karena Marinas, an air traffic controller at Los Angeles Center. She works a very diverse area of airspace overlying Eastern California, Northern Arizona, Southern Nevada and Utah. She is also an Air Safety Investigator for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, and has participated in many accident investigations with the NTSB since 2013 as a Subject Matter Expert in Enroute Air Traffic Control. Karena is also a private pilot, has a BS in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University and an MS in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle.
