Holiday Awards Dinner FAQ's



 

CHARITY:

 

 Our Chapter is proud to support a nonprofit Charity as part of our Holiday Awards Dinner. This year we chose to help those less fortunate by supporting .

 

Ventura County Food Share

a 501 (C) 3 Charity Tax ID#77-0018162

Mission: Food Share is dedicated to leading the fight against hunger in Ventura County.  

 

What is needed?  Protein, healthy food:  Canned tuna, canned chicken, peanut butter, rice, beans, soups, non-perishable foods.

 

Monetary donations  are very gratefully accepted.  Make checks payable to:   Ventura County Food Share 

 

Items that CAN NOT be accepted: State law prohibits Food Share sharing of food items beyond its expiration date.

 

GIFT EXCHANGE   (Optional, not required)

 

Bring a wrapped gift with a $25 suggested value and receive a ticket to participate in the gift exchange.  Tickets will be drawn and you will get to pick a gift from the table or, to make things more exciting,  you can steal someone else’s gift. 

 

PARKING:

 

Free parking  in the hotel parking lot

 

HOLIDAY DINNER: 

 

A No Host Bar will be open 5:00 - 9:00 pm

 

 Cocktail hour 5 - 6:00  with Appetizers.  Brie en Croute, Chicken Satay, Stuffed Mushrooms

 

Dinner Buffet  - 2-Carving stations: Roast Turkey, with gravy and cranberry sauce and Prime Rib with Au Jus and Horseradish sauce, Holiday Spring Mix with Pecans and Traditional Caesar, Rice Florentine, Green bean & Carrot Almondine and Rosemary Potatoes
